Vol. 4 of Quema is inspired by the architecture and natural environment of LagoAlgo. In collaboration with the artist Ernesto Solana (Guadalajara, 1985), a high-temperature ceramic tableware is presented that pays homage to the birds that inhabit the lake and the iconic architectural project of the building that currently houses LagoAlgo.

  • Round ceramic planter with two faces drawn in the wet cement of the inside surface, on a concrete surface.

  • A circular greenish metallic object with some blue and white residue on it, placed on a rough concrete surface.

  • A circular metal object with rust and corrosion spots, lying on a concrete surface.

  • A circular, old, and stained soap dish with some remnants of blue and white soap on it, placed on a rough surface.

  • Close-up of a rusty, round metal object on the ground with some white and blue spots on its surface.

  • A rusty, circular metal object with peeling paint and corrosion, lying on a concrete surface.

  • A round, shallow metal container with a greenish surface and some blue soap suds inside, placed on a rough concrete surface.

  • A blackened, round metal disk with some blueish patches on it, resting on a rough concrete surface.

  • A round rusty metal object on a concrete surface with four patches of blue and white ceramic tiles embedded in it.

  • A circular, ceramic plate with a rough texture, held by a person's hand against a concrete floor. The plate has two blue, cracked glaze spots on its surface.

  • A round ceramic plate with a textured, speckled surface, held by two hands. The plate has a design with two dolphins, one on the top and one on the bottom, created with blue and white glaze, resembling a watercolor effect.

  • A circular piece of ice with a leaf pattern pressed into the top, placed on a concrete surface.

  • A round ceramic plate with abstract watercolor-like design in beige, brown, and green tones, with two brown, shiny, leaf-shaped ceramic pieces attached at the bottom.
